National Price/Risk Ratings
Every quarter PMI Inc, a large mortgage insurance company, publishes an estimate of housing price risk, i.e. the risk of a further decline in home prices, for the major metropolitan markets across the U. S.
One page of their report shows a graphic map of the results of their analysis, reproduced below. The report is only 12 pages, and is a very readable overview of what is going on across the country in the housing market.
